Dependent on entries will be either be |

Morning Medal Qualifier with the best 4 NETT scores going |

Forward to the Afternoon Fourball |

|
Or |

|
Will be played as a Foursomes competition in the Morning & |

|
A Fourball competition in the Afternoon. The overall winners |
|
|
Being the Pair who record the Lowest total score over 36 holes |
|
|
|
|
MATCHPLAY SHIELD: |
If a Match is TIED after 18 holes then subject to both players agreement the match may either: |
|
|
|
|
|
Continue & in this case if either player is in receipt of shots he will again receive them at the relevant holes until the match is concluded |
|
|
OR |
|
|
Completely replay the match on another day, provided that |
|
|
It is within it’s timescale |
|
|
|
|
|
The above criteria must be agreed by both players prior to the match starting |
|
|
|
|
TEAM SELECTION: |
In the event of a selection process being required for any |
|
|
Match,This selection will be made by the Captain, Match |
|
|
Secretary & Chairman |
|
|
|
|
SWEEPSTAKES: |
Whenever practical 2 divisions will operate at ALL |
|
|
Individual Fixtures. |
|
|
The split for these divisions will be approximately half way |
|
|
Between the players handicaps competing in the fixture |
|
|
For ALL Individual Medal Competitions a Best Gross prize |
|
|
Will be paid |
|
|
The allocation of Sweepstakes & Management of Divisions |
|
|
Will be at the Sole Discretion of the Handicap Committee |
HANDICAPS:
On joining the Society a Players Club Handicap will be the starting point for his Society Handicap.
On joining the Society a player who is not in receipt of a Club Handicap will have a Handicap allocated at the time his application for society membership is accepted.
All Handicaps will be managed by the Handicap Committee, which will comprise of 3 members of the General Committee.
There will be NO Capping limit applied to members who are in receipt of a Club Handicap.Society Handicaps are to be treated totally separate to Club Handicaps
In Accordance with Rule 16 Handicaps will be Categorized as follows

At each Individual Fixture Standard Scratch Score will be calculated by taking the Average Score of the Top 25% of returned cards. Handicaps will then be cut using that Standard Scratch Score in accordance with the above table.
In addition to that cut, the Winner of any Individual Competition will be cut 1 X his handicap category.
If Any Player returns a score with a Nett Differential of 3 shots or more above the Standard Scratch score then his Handicap will be increased in accordance with the above table.
If a Player plays below his PLAYING handicap then his EXACT Handicap is reduced by an amount per stroke that he was below his PLAYING Handicap the amount of deduction per stroke being determined by his Handicap Category.
When a Players Handicap is to be Reduced so that it goes from a Higher Category to a Lower Category, it shall be reduced at the rate appropriate to the Higher Category only so far as it brings his Playing Handicap into the Lower Category.The balance of the reduction shall be at the rate appropriate to the Lower Category
For winning The Consistency Prize,The Individual Matchplay,The Pairs,The Fourball Shield and The George Booth Memorial competitions there will be a CUT of 1 x the players Handicap Category
A copy of these Rules, which were agreed at The Annual General Meeting held at Perton Park Golf Club on the 30th. October 2002 will be supplied to all members.
